Listings are syndicated from our website across the internet to find quality tenants. We use a rigorous, and fair-housing compliant, screening process covering credit, criminal and rental histories to find the best-qualified tenants. We do this because we believe good property management begins and ends with good tenants. Prospective tenants are marketed to across a wide range of popular websites and on the main Northwoods Servicing page. Showing are booked online which allows both tenants and leasing agents to get reminders of upcoming showings to drive efficiency in the process. Applications are completed online and require a pre-lease deposit to avoid non-serious applicants. Comprehensive credit and background checks are performed by a 3rd party company. Leases are issued to qualified tenants in compliance with Minnesota and national laws.
Maintenance & Remodeling
Northwoods Servicing employs a highly professional staff to complete a wide range of maintenance and remodeling work with great quality for an affordable price. Unit turnovers between tenants are executed efficiently to minimize vacant time between tenants. A list of subcontractors in all the specialty areas is constantly being revised in order to allocate work to the best companies in the Twin Cities for cost and quality. A 24-hour emergency line is monitored to react quickly in a crisis situation.
A front office staff handles all administrative aspects of property management including tenant requests, rent collection, evictions, move in / move out inspections, city inspections, property listings, Certificates of Rent Paid, market analysis, and rental licenses.
Financial performance is available online through state-of the art software and a personalized portal for owners. Reporting is available on-demand, and owners can see all transactions related to their property and a multitude of reports related to its performance. Year end statements are published in a timely manner to make personal or business tax prep as seamless as possible.
